How to change the Accommodation Column in the gradebook

The Buzz LMS (Learning Management System) that manages our SchoolsPLP gradebook recently pushed out an update to display student settings like "Ignore exam time limits for this student." Teachers may have chosen this setting for a student or this setting may have been applied in bulk for students during student upload/set up. We have found many schools/districts chose the setting to ignore exam time limits during increased online learning usage due to our nation's health crisis.

These settings are displayed as accommodations in the gradebook. We have outlined the steps below to remove this column from the gradebook view and/or remove these settings for student(s).

To view the chosen setting(s) for a student, click on the flag icon in the gradebook and view the information on the dialog box.

These setting choices are listed below the password field when setting up a student account.

Below are the steps to remove the accommodation settings column from your gradebook view:

1. Click on the name of the course.

2. Click the course setup link on the upper right-hand side of the screen.

3. Next click the link to launch the Open the course Editor in a New Tab.

4. Click the hamburger menu on the upper left-hand side.

5. Choose the Gradebook link.

6. Next, click the machine cog icon at the top right to view the gradebook display options.

7. Uncheck the Accommodations checkbox and choose Save.
