Accessing Your Student’s SchoolsPLP Account

Step 1: Go to Your Student’s PLP Website

Open your browser and navigate to the specific SchoolsPLP login page provided by your student’s school or district.

Step 2: Enter Your Student’s Credentials

You will see fields for:

  • Username
  • Password

Enter your student’s login information exactly as provided.

Step 3: Select Parent/Guardian Login

Below the password field, you’ll see a checkbox labeled:

Parent/Guardian Login

Check this box.

A message will appear explaining:

  • You will be able to view your student’s data.
  • You cannot complete coursework or assignments on your student’s behalf.

Step 4: Click Login

Select the Login button to access the parent dashboard.


Navigating the Parent Dashboard

Once logged in, you will land on your student’s Overview page. This page provides a real-time summary of their work and progress.

Overview Tab

The Overview displays:

1. Courses

A list of all courses your student is currently enrolled in.

2. Activities Completed

Under each course:

  • Activities completed today
  • Activities completed this week

3. Grades & Credits

To the right of the activity list:

  • Current grade percentage
  • Total credits earned

4. Progress Tracking

You will see two progress indicators:

  • Actual Progress (how far the student has truly progressed)
  • Expected Progress (how far they should be based on pacing)

5. Latest Activity Feed

On the far right side:

  • Real-time updates of your student's most recent work
  • A record of activities done today or earlier in the week

Report Cards Tab

Select the Report Cards tab to view:

  • Course grades
  • Completion status
  • Final grades (if the course is finished)

This section provides a clear snapshot of academic performance.


Daily Activity Tab

This tab shows the amount of work your student completes each day, including:

  • Total minutes spent on the platform
  • Number of activities completed
  • Whether activities were mastered on the first attempt

This is a helpful tool for monitoring engagement and effort.


Messaging Tab

Here you will find:

  • Messages sent from SchoolsPLP (system messages)
  • Messages from teachers or school staff
  • Post report updates

All communication related to your student’s account will appear here.


Notifications Tab

This tab allows you to customize how you receive updates.

You can update:

  • Email address
  • Phone number

Notifications may include:

  • Progress alerts
  • Course updates
  • Activity summaries

Be sure your contact information is accurate to ensure you receive important communication.


Getting Additional Help

If you need assistance at any time:

Click the “Need Help?” button

Located at the top right corner of the screen.

You can:

  • Search articles
  • Access guides
  • Review frequently asked questions
