Mathspace Courses and Intervention Options

Mathspace has partnered with SchoolsPLP to provide SchoolsPLP users with access to the Mathspace curriculum for Grades 3-12 covering the Common Core, Arizona, Florida and Virginia state standards.

When accessing Mathspace via SchoolsPLP there are two options; adding a Mathspace Course from the course catalog or adding Mathspace Intervention Content to an existing course section via the SchoolsPLP library.

Mathspace Courses

Mathspace courses (MS) are the best option for schools looking to use objective-focused assessments in a sequential course format. In these courses, students will link to an adaptive task in Mathspace.  Before starting the adaptive task, students will view a lesson with practice questions.

Mathspace Intervention

Mathspace lessons, practice questions, and adaptive tasks can be added, via the library, to any existing course. Mathspace Intervention suits those who use SchoolsPLP to manage their course material. Teachers can mix and match content from multiple curriculum providers, including Mathspace (lessons, practice questions, adaptive tasks), and manage the content within the SchoolsPLP interface.

*Using Mathspace courses or adding Mathspace Intervention content to a course, via the library, will give teachers access to the full suite of Mathspace features including:

  • Custom Tasks- where teachers can create and personalize work for their students.
  • Adaptive Tasks-  where teachers can create tasks that adapts to your students' progress
  • Task Templates- where tasks can be saved for later use, and shared between faculty members.
  • The full suite of Mathspace reports for classes and students, including:
    • Insights
    • Activity
    • Mastery
    • Tasks

*Any items created in Mathspace will sync with PLP to appear in the course syllabus as well as have an entry in the gradebook.
