Lifeliqe (Corinth)
SchoolsPLP and Lifeliqe (now known as Corinth) have teamed up to deliver the Lifeliqe (Corinth) curriculum inside SchoolsPLP! Lifeliqe (Corinth) is the first science curricula for K-12 enhanced with standard-aligned 3D, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). Lifeliqe (Corinth) is NGSS & Common Core aligned, correlated to major science textbooks for middle & high schools and includes more than 1,500 interactive 3D models.
3D Models
Lifeliqe’s (Corinth's) 3D models give students to an interactive experience with a variety of content. These models can be added into any PLP course to supplement existing lessons. To learn how to add a model into your course, click here.
To view the model from different angles, click on the image with your mouse and move it left or right, up or down.
Clicking on the different labels under the “Entire Model” menu on the left-hand side will highlight the different components of the model.
When viewing a model, you can use the toolbar at the bottom to read an introduction of the model, copy a link of the model, take a screenshot, access virtual reality capabilities, and change the language.
To adjust the background darkness, click the half circle icon in the upper right-hand corner. To adjust the text size, click the tT icon.
Lesson Plans for Middle School
Lifeliqe (Corinth) offers engaging lesson plans for middle school. These are broken down by the NGSS strands—Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth and Space Science. These lesson plans can be inserted into an existing course to extend learning. To learn how to add a lesson plan into your course, click here.
There are multiple unit folders, each containing lesson plans for different topics.
Each lesson plan has a model, learning objectives, keywords, and a standards alignment.
Each lesson plan is structured in the 5E model, with an engage, explore, explain, elaborate and evaluate section.
Lesson Plans for High School
Lifeliqe (Corinth) offers engaging lesson plans for high school. These are broken down by three content areas—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. These lesson plans can be inserted into an existing course to extend learning. To learn how to add a lesson plan into your course, click here.
The high school content contains unit folders and within each unit folder are teacher versions and student versions of the lesson plans. The teacher versions have been hidden and the student versions are visible.
The teacher versions of the lesson plans are like the middle school content, in that they have a model, overview, keywords and standards. They are also set up in the 5E model structure.
The difference between the teacher version and the student version is the student versions do not have the objectives or textbook recommendations and the language in the teacher versions that says “Have the students…” has been removed.
