Tool #1: Grading Assistant
Location: Gradebook
Acts as a digital teaching tool that reviews student work and suggests feedback and scores based on the content and rubrics.
When enabled for a school and in a course's settings: A sparkle icon appears next to all Grading Assistant–suggested scores to show that predictive grading has been applied.
Click on the score/cell to review the student's response along with BusyBee’s suggested grade and feedback.
- To accept the suggestions, simply click Submit.
- To make changes, delete and replace the score and/or feedback, then click Submit.

Tips:
- Always review to ensure BusyBee suggestions align with the rubric.
- Teachers have full control over final grades and feedback.
Tool #2: Help My Student
Location: Course Item Preview
Provides staff with additional resources and instructional strategies to help students master concepts.
Click the Help my Student button

Examples:
- Suggestions like incorporating videos, real-world examples, or discussion prompts.
- Ideal for novice teachers, virtual instructors, substitutes, or classroom aides.
Tool #3: Question Assistant
Location: Course Editor > Questions tab
Helps teachers generate comprehension questions based on the content of the activity or passages.
Click the pencil to the right of the item.
Click the Questions tab
Click the + plus Icon and then click Open question assistant
Navigate through the prompts.
Set preferences:
- Use template from this assessment
- Choose difficulty (e.g., Challenging). Select number of question and types (e.g., essay, multiple answer).
- Optional: Provide custom prompts (e.g., “Generate real-world questions”) as additional instructions
- Click Generate Questions.
Output:
- AI-generated questions (e.g., essays, fill-in-the-blank).
- Includes example answers for reference.
- Add to your lesson or modify as needed.
