How to Add Staff to Your SchoolsPLP Account (Admin User)

Overview

This article outlines two methods for adding staff/teachers to your SchoolsPLP account (requires administrator permissions):

Ensure you are logged in to your SchoolsPLP account with administrator access.

Use this method to add a small number of staff members.

Log in to your SchoolsPLP account
- You will land on the Progress Tracking tab
Access School Setup
- Navigate to the top-right corner of the screen (above the Send Message button)
- Click District or School Setup
- A yellow banner will appear confirming you are in Setup Mode
Click the Staff tab
Add a New Staff Member
- Click Add New Staff Member
Complete Staff Information
- Fill out all required fields in the form
Save
- Click Save
Confirm
- The new staff member will appear in the staff list

Staff who need to be added to courses at multiple schools should be created at the district domain level
If a staff member requires permissions beyond Only Assigned Courses, these can be updated in:
- School and District Roles tab (within user setup mode)

Use this method to add multiple staff members at once (recommended for 10+ users).

From setup mode, click the Spreadsheet tab.
Locate and download the file labeled Template for New Staff.
Open the Excel file and fill in the required staff information in Columns C through G.
Save the completed template to your computer. (CSV UTF-8 formatting)
Email the file to: training@schoolsplp.com

The SchoolsPLP team will upload the staff for you within 24 hours.
